SFU-CSSA

Membership of the CSSA is automatically approved for any interested Chinese students, scholars and workers in various SFU departments. Membership can be gained by email registration or attending the activities of CSSA. Members can enjoy the benefit of exchanging information through email-list and BBS, borrow various activity facilities for free or low fees. Members are oblidged to help with each other and have the right of elect and being elected.

CSSA organizational structure consists of a committee and its president and election annualy. It’s a non-profit association. Through out the year, CSSA sponsors numerous activities to meet and ascertain the members needs and interest. For example, we have Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, Potluck and many other activities and cultural events. Usually we have a Srping Festival party and Mid-Autumn/National Celebration performance. We invite you to enjoy our rich and colorful activities and events. All of these activities are open, we welcome international friends come and join us. The overall goal of CSA is to enhance relationships and build a network of support and encouragement.

CSSA encourages and welcome all (especially newcoming) Chinese students and scholars in SFU to get involved in organizing CSSA events and to join our organization!

本 着自愿的原则，联谊会欢迎所有来自中国大陆，港澳及台湾地区并在西蒙·费雷 泽 大学系统学习，访问，工作及生活的人员加入联谊会。联谊会会员可参加由联谊会发起和组织的各类活动；可通过CSSA网站和邮件列表分享和发布信息，可免费 或有偿借用联谊会拥有的文体设施，并享受联谊会所提供的一切便利。会员有向其它会员及活动提供服务和帮助的义务，有选举和被选举成为联谊会执委会成员的权 利。

联谊会执委会是联谊会的执行机构。执委会承担领导，管理，组织和维护联 谊会一切活动的责任，具体负责对外交流，组织活动，提供服务，发布信息，资产保存，经费管理及网站维护等。该机构主席及执委会成员由具有组织管理才能并热 心为全体会员服务的积极分子组成。执委会成员的工作属自愿性质的无偿劳动。

大型活动包括国庆，中秋及春节联欢晚会。届时联谊会将组织丰富多彩的文艺活动，提供中国传统美食及播放中央电视台春节联欢晚会录象。协会还将不定期组织季节性郊游，开展各类文体活动。所有活动都将对外开放，国际友人将受到热情欢迎。
